Keith worked for the Oxnard Police Department for nearly 30 years in the capacity of a spokesman and community affairs manager, publicly handling high profile cases, including more than 200 homicides. He also created or managed crime prevention programs featured on national news programs and television specials. He knows police practices, and this experience inspired him to write a realistic murder mystery entitled “Icy Betrayal,” which takes the reader down a path of passion, deception, betrayal and ultimately, redemption. It became a top-rated book on Amazon, and a sequel is being planned. Keith will talk about the process of writing the book from the time he got the inspiration to how he was able to get it published. Following his talk, he will be available to sign “Icy Betrayal,” which can be purchased in the Friends of the Library Gift Shop.
