Teen Council

If you like to talk about issues, voice your opinion, and get involved, join the Oxnard Public Library Teen Council at your local library.

What is the Library Teen Council?

A volunteer, community service organization for 13-18 year olds

  • Earn the community service hours required for graduation
  • Get experience to add to a college application
  • Meet other teens who want to make a difference in their community.
  • Helps decide what materials to order for the library's teen area.
  • Helps plan library programs of interest to teens.

More Information:

Main Library Teen Council meets on the third Thursday of each month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Main Library in Meeting Room A. Call Kristina Wroten at 240-7341, or come to our next meeting.

South Oxnard Branch Library Teen Council meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30-6:30 p.m. Call Renata at 247-8953 to R.S.V.P.
