In February 2020, the City received an $8.5 Million grant through the State of California Prop. 68 Park Grants Program to support activating the approximately 26 acres of Campus Park.
A design development is currently underway for Campus Park – a park space influenced by nature and natural materials, gardens, and Oxnard’s unique culture. The City’s Capital Improvements Program staff, in conjunction with the City’s design consultant, MIG, are in the Project Design Phase and are seeking community input for Concept Alternatives through a series of outreach events.
