Ms. Carri Karuhn, Starts New Job As City of Oxnard Media and Community Relations Manager
Oxnard, California – The City of Oxnard is pleased to announce that Carri Karuhn will join the city as manager of Media & Community Relations on November 20, 2017.
Karuhn has a solid history of building strong media relations, increasing community awareness and writing engaging communications. She has worked for the Chicago Tribune, The Associated Press and most recently for a leading aerospace company, where she was responsible for internal and external communications on all levels. She is a co-author and an award-winning screenwriter. Karuhn possesses multiple degrees with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Marquette University, a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
