Christmas Tree Recycling Information

There are several methods you can use to recycle your Christmas trees this year.  Please note that all decorations, stands, etc. must be removed prior to recycling.

• Place the cut up tree in the green waste bin on the appropriate collection day.  The lid must close on the container to be serviced by our collection vehicles. This can be done all year round (no cutoff date).

• From Monday, December 28, 2020 – Saturday, January 30, 2021 place the tree curbside, next to the trash cart on the appropriate service day.

• From Monday, December 28, 2020 – Saturday, January 30, 2021, drop off trees at the Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station, during open hours (Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM).  The drop-off location will be at the Buy Back Center off Del Norte Boulevard.  Residents can receive a free bag of Agromin soil amendment when delivering their tree (while supplies last).

Hay diferentes métodos para reciclar su árbol de Navidad este año. Por favor recuerde que todas las decoraciones, luces, etc. deben ser retiradas antes de reciclarlo.

• Coloque el árbol cortado dentro del contenedor verde durante el día apropiado de recolección. La tapa del contenedor debe estar cerrada para que asegurar el servicio del camión recolector. Esto puede hacerlo todo el año (sin fecha líimite).

• Del Lunes, Diciembre 28, 2020 – Sábado, Enero 30, 2021, coloque el árbol en la banqueta, a un lado del contenedor de basura el día apropiado de recolección.

• Del Lunes, Diciembre 28, 2020 – Sábado, Enero 30, 2021, puede llevar su árbol a Del Norte Recycling and Transfer Station, durante horario de trabajo (Martes-Sábado de 9:00 AM-3:00 PM). El lugar para dejar su árbol será en el Buy Back Center por la entrada en Del Norte Blvd. Los residentes pueden recibir un bolsa gratis de abono de tierra Agromin cuando dejen su árbol (Hasta agotar existencias).
