#16 California Lighthouse
California Lighthouse Landscape Maintenance District (No.16) was formed within the City on July 9, 1991. The district generally consists of property north of Ninth Street, east of S. Ventura Road, south of W. Seventh Street, and west of Kingfisher Way. Assessments are imposed exclusively to finance capital costs, maintenance, and operation expenses associated with the repairs to trees, shrubs, and ground cover.
The current service level in LMD 16 California Lighthouse is Service Level C. For a detailed description of what your service level entails, please click the link below – current year assessment information – then Maintenance Service Levels and Frequency of Operations.
The City of Oxnard is currently engaged in Community Outreach to Landscape Maintenance Districts throughout the City. The Special Districts Division has launched the ReNew California Lighthouse campaign to engage residents on improvements within their District. Through our work with CivicMic, the Special Districts Division will be issuing postal mailers, surveys and community meetings to discuss how we can work together to improve your District.
The inspection reports list the deficiencies that were found during the most recent inspection of the property. Unless approved by the Project Manager, all deficiencies must be corrected within two weeks of notification to avoid a deduction from the contractor’s monthly payment.
