Mission
The Housing Department’s mission is to promote the general welfare of the City by remedying unsafe and substandard housing, and by relieving the shortage of affordable housing for City residents. This mission is consistent with the City’s General Plan and laws governing our housing funds and resources.
The purpose of the Housing Department is to provide decent, safe, attractive, sanitary, and well maintained housing for eligible low and very low income families in a manner that promotes commitment, exemplary customer service, economy, efficiency and the social well-being of the residents.

SELECTION FOR SECTION 8 PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER ASSISTANCE
The Oxnard Housing Authority (OHA) provides public notice of the conditional selection of Many Mansions for an award of up to thirty-five (35) Project Based Vouchers for the Central Terrace Apartments affordable housing development. Many Mansions’ proposal was evaluated based on the selection criteria included the OHA’s Request for Proposals for Project Based Vouchers issued on April 13, 2020.
