The temporary COVID-19 Rental Assistance program may provide a one-time rental assistance payment for Oxnard residents who:
- Owe past-rent because of hardship due to COVID-19 between the months of September 2020 to January 2021
=> Minimum 2 months past due
- Have very low incomes
- Meet all program criteria
- Ensure a complete application
- Have not received or will not receive other forms of COVID-19 related rental assistance
Funding issued will be based on the amount of rent-owed which can be up to 75% of the total rent amount due from the period of September 2020 to January 2021 or up to $5,000 whichever is less.
Paper checks will be mailed directly to landlords/property owners.
