Attention artists! The Oxnard Public Library is celebrating its 110th anniversary with a fun bookmark contest! Imagine what you think the library will look like in 100 years and draw your design on a paper available at each library. One winner per age group will be selected and turned into a bookmark for the library’s Summer Reading Program. The contest is open to those in grades K – 12. Artists can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to design their bookmark. Artwork should be a depiction of what the library will look like (inside or out) 100 years from now. One entry per person. All work must be original with no copyrighted characters or designs. Contest runs from April 1 to April 22. Completed forms can be submitted to any branch. Winners will be announced on April 29th. All events are free thanks to the generosity of the Oxnard Friends of the Library Foundation.
Forms are available at the Children’s or Help Desk at the Main Library, Circulation Desk at the Colonia Branch Library and the Information Desk at the South Oxnard Branch Library,
