Important Information About Your Utility Bill
As shelter in place orders have been lifted, regular meter reading has resumed. While meter reading services were suspended in April and May, some water and wastewater customer bills were estimated based on usage from the same period of the previous year. The next customer bill with actual meter reads will be reconciled with the estimated amounts to realign each customer’s account and bring it up to date.
It is critical that everyone has access to clean water to stay healthy. To support our community, the City has suspended water shutoffs for non-payment and assessment of penalties for delinquent bills. Payment plans are also available for customers who need more time to pay their utility bill and while our offices are closed, we encourage customers to call us at (805) 385-7816 to discuss your options.
