Amy Differ Receives the 2017 Robbie’s Award
Robbie’s award is presented to individuals or families that contribute to the Oxnard Special Populations (OSP) Program. This year’s recipient was Amy Differ, a parent and volunteer at OSP. Amy is a passionate and enthusiastic human being. She is a mother, a wife, a student, and an active member of SELPA. She’s also a dependable and caring volunteer, to say the least.
Three years ago, when the art grant was over for OSP Amy stepped in as a volunteer to continue with the art lessons. Since then, Amy has not missed one lesson and continues to serve the OSP program. You can find Amy face painting at Day at the Park, setting up tables for Fun Club, painting posters for Challenger Flag Football and Saturday mornings participating in Goal Ball with her son.
Like Rob, Amy is very passionate about the special needs community and serves them with an open heart. Amy is a true role model for our community and she means so much to the OSP program.
Congratulations Amy and Thank you for you dedication to our Oxnard Special Populations Program!
