Recreation and Community Services offers several programs for adults of all ages. See the various categories below for more details about our offerings.
Adult Recreational Classes
Our division offers an ever-changing selection of recreational classes for adults, including arts, special interest, and health & fitness. You may also wish to visit some of our neighboring divisions; Carnegie Art Museum, Oxnard Public Library, and the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.

Adult Sports Leagues
We host softball and basketball leagues year-round. These leagues are for team registration only, and run for 10-week seasons. Additionally, we have open table-tennis and badminton programs (open to groups and individuals), as well as open gym periods.
Our Senior program is an active and robust community with many programs and activities. We have four senior centers in Oxnard, each with a full calendar of events and activities. We also have a range of services and resources open to all senior citizens in Oxnard. See our Senior Services page to learn more.
Special Populations (Special Needs)
The Oxnard Special Populations (OSP) program provides recreational and social programming for the physically challenged and special needs population of Oxnard. See our OSP web page to learn more.
