What is Cloud Library?
Cloud Library is an app and service owned by Bibliotheca that the Oxnard Public Library subscribes to which gives you access to and allows you to borrow from the Oxnard Public Library’s electronic book collection. Also available are other materials from participating California libraries, including a large selection of eBooks and also eAudiobooks. Enjoy a wider selection of choices than ever before!
You will just need your library card number and PIN to get access to Cloud Library. At present, you can check out up to 50 items for 14 days at a time. There are no renewals, but items are automatically returned at the end of the loan period, so there are no late fees! If the item is still available after you return it, you can recheck it out again.
You may request up to 10 items that are borrowed by someone else at a time, but items from other libraries may not be requested and are only able to be checked out if available. You have 7 days to verify you want to check out a requested item when your place in the queue comes about.
The app allows you access to your reading and listening history, so you never have to worry about remembering a title you checked out again.
